1mm+2mm Adhesion Tester
Designed and manufactured according to ISO2409-1992 standard. It is suitable for GB/T9286-98, BS 3900 E6/ASTM D3359.
Application: the instrument is mainly suitable for the determination of adhesion of organic coatings by lattice method. Not only for the laboratory, but also for the construction site under a variety of conditions.
Working principle and scope of application
The instrument cuts and penetrates the lattice pattern of the coating with a certain specification tool, and the finished pattern is divided into six grades to evaluate the adhesion effect of the coating from the base material.
Technical instructions:
1, multi edge cutting knife spacing were: 1+0.01mm, 2+0.01mm.

Operation and use method:
1, the specimen must be in accordance with the provisions of ISOR1514 and preparation of ISO2828.
2, the sample is placed on the plate has enough hardness on.
3, hand cut device handle, the multi edge cutting knife perpendicular to the specimen plane.
4, with a uniform pressure, stable cutting speed wobble technique and 20-50mm/S cut.
5. Rotate the test piece 90 degrees and repeat the above operations on the cut cut to make the lattice pattern.
6, with a soft brush on both sides of the diagonal lattice graphics gently back 5 times, 5 times the specimen brush forward.
7. The test should be done at least in three different positions of the test piece. If the test results of the three positions are different, the experiment should be repeated in more than three positions, and all the results will be recorded simultaneously.
8, such as the need to replace the multi edge cutting knife, the knife body with a screwdriver unscrew the two screws, used for the knife, the knife mouth parts attached to one side of the handle, the screws tightened.
Matters needing attention:
1. All incisions shall penetrate the coating, but shall not be too deep into the base.
2. If the coating is too thick and hard to penetrate the material, the experiment is invalid, but it should be explained in the test report.
3. Test tape must be 610-1PK test tape produced by 3M company in the United states. The adhesive tape is attached to the entire grid, and then is torn at the angle. The results can be obtained according to the proportion of the adhesive area on the surface of the film.
4. The test should be carried out at the temperature of 23 + 2 and the relative humidity of 50 + 5%.
