Kinetic Energy Tester Sensor Distance Select 100-500mm
Product Introduction
KE Tester is a equipment to check the speed of a object (DUT) which pass though the test tunnel .According to the result read out and mass value of DUT, we could calculate the kinetics energy value and know how danger of DUT it is .
Inside the test tunnel of this KE tester, there have three sets of Infra-Red sensor group. One set for start the timer and other two for stop the timer.
Each group include 30 pairs Infra-Red Sensor. They are located in opposite plate and the Infra-Red light are transmitter and receiver are fix in a opposite and signal will transmit and receive though a 1mm narrow gap.
The first group sensor is calls “Start-Sensor”. The second group is call “10cmStopSensor” and the third group is call “30cmStopSensor”.
Distance between “StartSensor” and “10cmStopSensor” is 10cm. It is always use for detect low speed or high air friction object.
Distance between “StartSensor” and “30cmStopSensor” is 30cm. It is always use for detect high speed or low air friction object.
1/10000s timer will start at “Start-Sensor” detected DUT, timer will stop until “10cmStopSensor” or “30cmStopSensor” detected DUT. (According to the test range select by user).

Basic requirements
- 220V AC Input
- Turn-On the tester and let it warm up for 5min.
- DUT need to go through the tunnel in horizontally.
- Diameter of DUT need to greater than 5mm
- Speed of DUT must lower than 140m/s
- Test Time(DUT go through time must less than 2.6S
